Active Personal Customers increased by 34 when compared to last month and is now at 1213 customers.  All of my new customers were Catalog and Preferred Customers with no new dealers, retail accounts or commercial accounts

The $400,000 sales target is a stretch goal for me.  It will be a bit difficult for me to reach but that's partly why I chose it...I'll have to work hard in order for me to get there.  Additionally, the AMSOIL compensation plan has bonus payouts at specific sales levels.  If I reach $400,000 in sales, I'll earn an additional $1750 USD or approximately $2400 CAD bonus

I'm behind target in reaching this goal.  I blame myself for loosing focus and not spending enough time on my AMSOIL business.  I'll have to buckle down if I'm to achieve this goal

Help one dealer increase his income to $1000 per month.  Becoming an AMSOIL Dealer has been life changing for me.  I'd love to see other people find success as well.  Whether that's an existing dealer on my team or someone that is brand new to the business, I want to help more people find more financial success and freedom

I've nearly completed the development of my dealer training resource (that took a LONG TIME) and have started to share it with my existing dealer team and all new dealers that join my team

​This training has all of the information a person needs to earn $1000 per month and much more if he/she chooses to

I've reached out to the majority of dealers on my team and introduced them to the new training.  Most of the guys received my message positively, several didn't respond and one responded very negatively...can't please everyone

Some of the guys are taking a little more action and a couple are moving very close to the $1000 per month commission level

​Once I have finished my follow-up system, I want to help more people discover this amazing business opportunity.  I have some ideas in mind as to how I'll do this but will develop this after I've shared the dealer training with my entire team and completed my new dealer welcome system

As 2022 draws to a close, I thought it would be a good time to have a quick review of the year, my earnings as an AMSOIL Dealer and what lays ahead for 2023

​Let's take a look at the numbers...

2022 was my best year to date.  As you can see in the chart above, I earned $47,251.34 USD in commissions.  I'm still waiting to receive my T4A from AMSOIL but based on my calculations, this equates to CAD $61,906*

The graph above shows my monthly commission earnings for the past three years.  The yellow line is 2021 and the red line is 2022.  As you can see, other than a couple of months, I earned greater commissions each month when compared to last year.   I also finished the year with a great December due to achieving a bonus for reaching a new level of sales achievement

What worked in 2022
I am so grateful for the AMSOIL business opportunity.  For the most part, my business is quite passive at this point.  Although I'd like to see even higher earnings, I am more than happy with how the year went.  The seeds I've planted and the relationships I've built over the past several years are working well to create recurring and mostly passive income now

What didn't work in 2022
Lack of focus.  Once again, I lost focus on what is truly important (building my AMSOIL business) and spend WAY too much time on other projects and ideas.  Although the AMSOIL provided training for dealers is amazing, I want to provide additional, exclusive training for my dealer team.  I made a little progress on this training in 2022 but not as much as I would have liked.  Again, this was due to the amount of time spent on other projects/ideas unrelated to my AMSOIL business

What is planned for 2023

• Spend more time working on my business.  Get back to my routine of doing something daily to build it
• Work on my exclusive dealer training materials
• Set a new goal for 2023.  As of right now, I haven't spent any time planning ahead or making a goal for the coming year.  I'll work on this ASAP

With that said, let's have a quick look at how May, 2022 went for me...

I earned $4,092.86 USD (approx. $5318 CAD) in May 2022.  I am very grateful for this but at the same time, disappointed that I didn't earn more.

For several years now, I've had a goal of increasing my commission by 12% and I'm happy to report that I've been able to reach this goal just about every month for 3 years now.  It's getting more difficult but April, 2022 saw a commission increase of 14% over the same month last year.   

The graph above shows 2022 in green and 2021 in red.  I'm happy with how things are going so far this year.

Here's my actual commission payments from 2019 to present.  Green numbers mean that I had over 12% growth when compared to the same period the previous year.  As you can see, I earned $4,791.76 USD in commission in March, 2022.  This is my highest monthly earnings to date.  Not bad for a part-time, very enjoyable business.

AMSOIL is about to launch a new and improved compensation plan.  I'm both excited and nervous about this new plan.  For brand new dealers, the new comp plan is amazing.  AMSOIL is making it WAY easier for new dealers to earn commissions right from the beginning.  They have changed a few other things as well that may not help experienced dealers like myself but only time will tell if these changes help me or now.

One thing I am very certain of though is that now is a better time than ever to become an AMSOIL dealer!

Back in December, 2019 I wrote the following goal:

Although I missed my target of quitting in January, I was able to do so in July.  I'm very grateful that my AMSOIL business provided me the ability to do this.  Without AMSOIL, I'd likely still be doing a job that I didn't enjoy simply because I needed the money.  Thank you AMSOIL!

Although I missed my goal of earning an average $4600 USD per month, I'm quite happy with how 2021 went.

Growth:  Every single month saw a growth in commissions vs the previous year.

Earnings:  I earned $41,103.80 USD in commissions for the year.  That's far from my goal of $55,000 USD but, based on the time that I put into my business, and the distractions throughout the year, I'm very happy with this.

After doing the currency conversion, I earned $50,595 CAD in 2021

Growth Bonus:  I haven't received my growth bonus for 2021 yet but I suspect it will be somewhere in the neighbourhood of $1000.  I'll update this post once I receive my growth bonus payment.

I've decided to keep my goal of $4600 USD per month through 2022.  I have a tentative plan in place on how I will do this but the most important part of my goal is to stay focused.  That is why I have bolded the word focus in my goal this year.

Among other things, my plan for 2022 includes introducing the AMSOIL business to more people and helping them to reach their goals.

Although I missed my goal, that's as close as I've ever been so I'm fairly satisfied with that.  Another positive trend is the continued growth each month when compared to last year.  When you look at the chart above, green numbers mean that my earnings were greater than the same period last year.  Lots of green is good, black and red are not

​Another number I like to watch is my active personal customers.  Continued growth here will contribute to my long term success as an AMSOIL dealer.  

Each customer type has different earnings potential.  If I wanted to maximize my income, I'd focus on developing the most profitable customer types but for now, I'm just looking for general growth

What's next:
I'm going to continue with what I've been doing for the balance of the year and also want to help spread the word to more people about the AMSOIL business opportunity.  I genuinely believe that becoming an AMSOIL dealer is once of the best decisions I've ever made and want to help more people discover it too...maybe through these blog posts

With that said, let's have a quick look at how December, 2019 went...

​My December, 2019 AMSOIL earnings were up a whopping 31.64% vs December, 2019.  I'm going to give myself credit for this growth and not just chalk it up to good luck.  I spent some time in October and November working on my website and also doing so work locally to get some additional traffic and sales.  I feel my December sales were a reflection of this work.

2019 Growth Bonus
What's not shown in the spreadsheet above is that I also qualified for a growth bonus of $976.10 USD

So, if I add my growth bonus to my December commissions, that's a total of $2354.64 USD for the month.  Not bad at all.

​What happened:
I did not work on my AMSOIL business at all in December.  Between visiting family, taking a trip to Mexico and various other distractions, my December earnings were 100% passive.

I'm so grateful for having discovered the AMSOIL Dealer Opportunity that has allowed me to earn passive income like this.
